Menzer Law Firm is a Member of the International Society of Primerus Law Firms

Since 2016, Menzer Law Firm has been a part of the International Society of Primerus Law Firms (“Primerus”). We are one of only a few firms in Washington and Hawaii to become members. As part of its Personal Injury Institute, we’re also the only Primerus plaintiff’s personal injury firm in Washington.
What is Primerus?
Primerus is an exclusive association with fewer than 200 member firms across 40 countries. Each member is an independent, small or mid-sized law firm that excels in the practice of law.
One purpose of Primerus is to provide a reliable avenue for individuals to find the top firms in their area for legal help. The Wall Street Journal called Primerus the “Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval” for law firms. Individuals who go to a Primerus law firm know they’ll receive excellent service, reasonable fees, and lawyers with integrity.
Primerus Only Accepts High-Quality and Successful Firms
Before a firm is welcomed into the society, Primerus scrutinizes each applicant based on six pillars:
- Integrity: This is the number one quality clients want from their attorneys.
- Excellent Work Product: The attorneys of the firm must produce consistent, high-quality work, including strong communication with their clients.
- Reasonable Fees: Regardless of a firm’s fee structure, the fees must be reasonable based on the attorney’s knowledge and experience and the geographic area.
- Continuing Education: Attorneys who are part of Primerus are required to take twice as many continuing legal education hours as most states require.
- Civility: Primerus attorneys understand the legal industry requires respect and honor among lawyers, judges, and other parties. A high degree of professionalism is essential.
- Community Service: Primerus attorneys pledge to give back to the community, including through pro bono legal services.
Primerus Conducts In-Depth Research
Before Primerus welcomes a firm into the association, it conducts in-depth research to determine whether the firm meets the six pillars and embodies Primerus’ values. The association reviews the firm’s legal rankings and reaches out to judges, other attorneys, bar associations, licensing bodies, insurance companies, and clients to discuss a law firm’s knowledge, work product, conduct, and achievements.
Primerus also evaluates how a law firm is ranked by other well-regarded legal organizations. A firm must have achieved an AV-Rating by Martindale-Hubbell. Menzer Law Firm has the AV Preeminent Rating – the highest rating granted by the “gold standard” in legal rankings.
Every year Primerus audits law firm members to ensure they continue to meet the association’s code of professional conduct. Additionally, if any disputes arise between member firms, Primerus’ Quality Assurance Board adjudicates the disputes.
Primerus Helps Us Serve Our Communities
Primerus is a well-respected legal association that includes almost 30 of the best personal injury firms in the world. As a Primerus firm, we are in great company. As a member of Primerus, Menzer Law Firm takes advantage of sponsored educational meetings, seminars, symposiums, webinars, and listservs. We also make a concerted effort to connect with other firms around the U.S. that are often on the cutting-edge of personal injury law and advocacy.
